Sunshine Structures Awarded Design/Build Contract for the Beck Florida Regional Office Building

TAMPA, Fla. (1/30/09) – The Beck Group has awarded Sunshine Structures a design-build contract to provide the structural design and shell construction for their new office building located at 1902 North Highland Avenue, Tampa.

Sunshine will provide all cast-in-place concrete, steel-reinforced tilt-walls and structural steel systems for this three-story, 32,000 SF building. This project will feature innovative architectural finishes utilizing site cast tilt-up concrete walls. Sunshine Structures and their engineering partner, LJB Inc., worked with The Beck Group in the design of this CON/STEEL Tilt Systems building.

Nick Demint is the project executive for Sunshine Structures, and Brad Harger is the general superintendent. Joe Harrington took the lead in architectural design for Beck and David Crosbie is Beck’s project manager. Construction is scheduled to start in March.
