Sunshine Structures Completes Structural Shell System for Satellite High School Replacement
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. (11/21/08) – Sunshine Structures, Inc., has completed the structural shell system on the 31,000 SF Satellite High School Replacement located at 398 Jackson Avenue in Satellite Beach.
The Weitz Company, the general contractor, awarded Sunshine Structures a Design-build contract for the structural shell package on this 2 story tilt-wall building; this included all cast-in-place concrete, steel-reinforced tilt-walls and structural steel. Sunshine Structures and their engineering partner, LJB Inc., worked with STH Architects, in the design of this CON/STEEL Tilt Systems building.
Russ McCone is the project manager for Sunshine Structures, and Noel Rodriguez is project superintendent.
